چکیده

Characterizing the many-body localization (MBL) transition in strongly disordered and interacting quantum systems is an important issue field of condensed matter physics. We study single particle Green's functions for a system one dimension using exact diagnonalization infinite temperature limit provide strong evidence that excitations carry signatures delocalization to MBL transition. In delocalized phase, typical values local density states scattering rate are finite while both quantities become vanishingly small. The probability distribution broad log-normal distributions phase very narrow sharply peaked close zero phase. also eigenstate function all eigenstates demonstrate both, energy resolved states, can track mobility edges.

Many-body localization phase transition

We use exact diagonalization to explore the many-body localization transition in a random-field spin-1/2 chain. We examine the correlations within each many-body eigenstate, looking at all high-energy states and thus effectively working at infinite temperature. For weak random field the eigenstates are thermal, as expected in this nonlocalized, “ergodic” phase. For strong random field the eigen...

a comparative pragmatic analysis of the speech act of “disagreement” across english and persian

the speech act of disagreement has been one of the speech acts that has received the least attention in the field of pragmatics. this study investigates the ways power relations, social distance, formality of the context, gender, and language proficiency (for efl learners) influence disagreement and politeness strategies. the participants of the study were 200 male and female native persian s...

Many-Body Localization Implies that Eigenvectors are Matrix-Product States.

The phenomenon of many-body localization has received a lot of attention recently, both for its implications in condensed-matter physics of allowing systems to be an insulator even at nonzero temperature as well as in the context of the foundations of quantum statistical mechanics, providing examples of systems showing the absence of thermalization following out-of-equilibrium dynamics. In this...

Many-body Localization of Cold

In the seminal 1958 paper, Anderson cites the problem of spin diffusion as a motivation to study the quantum effect of localization [1]. The conclusion about the stability of a localized phase was actually reached there for a single quasiparticle hopping between sites with random, broadly distributed energies. The single-particle localization theory, applicable to various systems comprised of n...

Doppler shift on local density of states and local impurity scattering in the vortex state

The vortex state thermal and transport properties of the high T c copper oxides can be understood in a d-wave gap model and are dominated by the extended quasiparticle states that exist along the nodal directions in momentum space. The Doppler shift on these states due to the circulating supercurrents around the vortex core, introduces new van Hove ridges into the energy dependent local density...
